as you all already know, the committee has implemented fines for those who are late. 50 cents for being late the first ten minutes and $1 for being late thereafter. all fines will go into the co fund, which is used for all the photocopying charges, buying strings/ batteries for tuners, etc. and if you dont have money that day, you have to either borrow from a friend or do duty, which means cleaning up of the CO room.

i hope all of you understand that it is your responsibility to come early for co practice. BEING LATE IS REALLY UNACCEPTABLE. this is part of the committee's effort to improve the discipline of co and i hope you all do cooperate. and when you are late and have to pay a fine, please dont curse or sulk at me, okay. you just have to come early. i dont enjoy collecting fines too, so please, try to come early, k? (: reach before 1.30pm on mondays and before 12.30pm on fridays, and i can assure you that fines will not come knocking on your door. oh ya and even if ur bag is there and you yourself is not there. u still have to pay for the fines. your bag is not u so u cant give any excuse.



and also, for sec1s and sec2s please pass $5 for co fund to your SLs. please understand that we are very lucky as compared to COs from other schools. for example, members from temasek secondary school chinese orchestra have to pay $2 to the CO fund EVERY MONTH WITHOUT FAIL. so we are being very kind already. and please note that strings for instruments are very expensive too, so we are not asking for much, actually.
